◎系所教育目標：
本系以經濟動物及伴侶動物並重，從基礎獸醫學、副臨床獸醫學、臨床獸醫學課程、動物疾病診斷以及醫院診療技術均予以完整訓練，以加強培育各動物類別之疾病診斷人才及臨床獸醫師。
教育目標如下：
1.培育各動物類別之臨床獸醫師。
2.培育獸醫學專業知識以及各動物類別診療技術人才。
3.培育獸醫人員基本研究素養。

本課程主要介紹家禽常見疾病病理學變化及配合家禽臨床病例診斷報告，達到理論與臨床實務並重，以期對家禽疾病從事有效的治療、預防與控制。 | ◎本學科教學內容大綱：
教學內容涵蓋家禽病理學各論(Avian systemic pathology)，其內容包括神經系統、呼吸系統、消化系統、肝膽系統、肌肉骨骼系統、造血系統、內分泌系統、皮膚系統及配合家禽臨床病例病理學變化與鑑別診斷。 | ◎本學科學習目標：
