◎本學科學習目標: In addition to race, gender and class, ethnicity has become an important issue in cultural studies, literary production and identity construction. Guided reading of selected works by writers of various ethnic groups of North American writers, will help students cultivate higher cultural literacy and understand the link between diaspora experiences and identity construction. |

◎成績考核 期末考40% 口頭報告60% 補充說明:Sit-in final exams are optional. Students are allowed to choose to write 10-page-long term paper or reflections related to the stories on the syllabus. Term paper (90%) & participation (10%) weigh 100% for evaluation. |
