◎本學科學習目標: This course offers students the chance to develop and practice specialist vocabulary and structures needed for the tourism industry or for use whilst travelling. Contents are fully tailored to the specific needs of tourism and hospitality professionals and topics will include hotels, travel agents, tours, restaurants, and money. This course is designed to help students learn a comprehensive introduction to Tourism English, especially for tour leaders and tour guides.
1. Students will be able to understand some frequently-used tourism English vocabulary and expressions.
2. Students will be able to plan a trip and visit a foreign country by themselves.
3. Students will be able to share their travel experience and travel plans with their friends in English. |

◎成績考核 課堂參與討論15% : Class Participation & Attendance 期中考30% : Midterm Exam 書面報告20% : Revised Travel Plan (include individual reflection journal within 2 pages) 口頭報告20% : Group presentation for your group's 7 days' travel plan of a country within 25 mins 作業/習題演練15% : Each student needs to interview at least 2-3 foreign travelers in five-star hotels or hostels, etc. and wrap up in 2-3 pages paper. |
