◎系所教育目標：
為配合國家建設及產業發展之需要，本系以培育中高級資訊科技人才為目的。在教學理念上除了注重理論的探討之外並強調實際動手的能力，以期培育出具有深厚學識基礎並能實際應用的資訊科技人才。在專業必修中涵蓋基礎理論、電腦硬體、作業系統、資料結構及計算機網路等方面，並有畢業專題製作，使學生紮實基礎，同時課程包含四個專業學程，兼顧學術及實務之分流與訓練。分別為一：軟體工程及知識工程學程、二：互動多媒體學程、三：網路及資訊安全學程、四：資訊系統開發實務學程，以期作為日後升學就業的準備。 |

◎本學科內容概述：
本課程為網路系列課程中最基礎入門課程，以學生學習計算機網路觀念、協定、技術為課程目標，並加強目前各項Internet重要協定介紹。並因應網路技術變革，介紹最新網路相關技術等。透過計算機網路課教學，將會讓學生真正了解所用的網路運作方式，作為未來相關進階網路課程的學習基。 |
◎本學科教學內容大綱：
在網際網路架構下的計算機網路主要被分為5層：Physical Layer、Datalink Layer、Network Layer、Transport Layer、Application Layer，故會先大略概述介紹何謂計算機網路、何為網路協定、何謂應用服務等基本議題後，再以Top-Down或是Bottom-Up方式一一介紹各分層的主要作用、使用協定、與提供服務等，如傳輸媒介種類、乙太網路、網路定址與路由、IPv4與IPv6、TCP/UDP、應用服務協定、無線網路與行動網路、網路多媒體、網路安全等，幫修課學生有系統建立計算機網路的概念知識，以作為修習網路進階課程與開發網路應用程式之基礎。 |
◎本學科學習目標：
本課程是針對資工系大二學生計算機網路入門課程，目的為使學生了解計算機網路觀念、協定、技術，並加強目前Internet重要協定。網路領域內容隨著時代變化，所涉及相關觀念也越來越複雜，因此除了原有通訊協定標準的介紹外，通訊標準的原理以及相關研究討論也一並於本課程中加強。讓學生可以於本課程中了解相關領域協定標準外，並有能力了解各種標準協定的優缺點。 |
