本系以經濟動物及伴侶動物並重，從基礎獸醫學、副臨床獸醫學、臨床獸醫學課程、動物疾病診斷以及醫院診療技術均予以完整訓練，以加強培育各動物類別之疾病診斷人才及臨床獸醫師。

◎本學科內容概述：
本課程介紹及訓練由罹病動物身上採取血、尿、糞及其他檢驗材料，於實驗室施行物理學、化學及微生物學以及免疫學等各種檢查，以其結果為客觀資料，作為診斷病名、判定治療之良否及推測預後的依據。 |
◎本學科教學內容大綱：
1.介紹獸醫臨床病理學實習之診斷用檢體準備及保存與輸送。
2.說明動物皮膚病之皮毛檢查。
3.說明動物之糞便檢查。
4.動物血液之採集、血液抹片製作及染色法。
5.各種動物正常及異常血片之觀察。
6.血液抹片之特殊染色法及超活體染色法。
7.全自動血球計數分析、判讀及白血球分類計數。
8.血容比、紅血球沉降速率及黃疸指數測定。
9.紅血球脆性試驗、血液交叉配合試驗及Coomb's test。
10.血小板計數及止血障礙試驗。 |
