本系以經濟動物及伴侶動物並重，從基礎獸醫學、副臨床獸醫學、臨床獸醫學課程、動物疾病診斷以及醫院診療技術均予以完整訓練，以加強培育各動物類別之疾病診斷人才及臨床獸醫師。

◎本學科內容概述：
本科目以臨床小動物為對象，分系統性，以通用原則讓學生瞭解犬貓內分泌疾病，與診斷方式。重點為內分泌的檢測方式，與治療原則。配以內分泌相關的最新研究，讓學生瞭解哺乳動物內分泌的最新觀念與研究進程。 |
◎本學科教學內容大綱：
從內分泌的生理、對身體的影響，開始分別詳細介紹。詳述內分泌失常時，動物呈現的臨床表徵，與狀態，之後瞭解診斷方式與治療手段，評估預後。分組學習收集最新文獻，研讀內分泌期刊，結合資料收集與報告方式，學習自我學習，滾動式更新臨床知識。 |
