◎系所教育目標：
本系以經濟動物及伴侶動物並重，從基礎獸醫學、副臨床獸醫學、臨床獸醫學課程、動物疾病診斷以及醫院診療技術均予以完整訓練，以加強培育各動物類別之疾病診斷人才及臨床獸醫師。

讓學生瞭解生物個體對外來的傷害，或由於內在原因所引起有關個體、器官、組織、細胞及分子一切反應，依據對病理學的了解，進而做出正確的診斷，以期對家畜禽及犬貓疾病從事有效的治療、預防與控制。 |
