◎本學科內容概述：
建立學生對於細菌、傳染病與對動物致病機制之概念，並瞭解細菌的結構與細菌間的差異，讓學生對於動物細菌性疾病有深刻瞭解。 |
◎本學科教學內容大綱：
本課程從教授獸醫基礎細菌學（及部分人類醫學之重要細菌性疾病）之基本學識開始，同時著重說明重要獸醫細菌性疾病之致病原理。課程主要包括細菌介紹及其鑑定方法、動物病原菌致病機轉、細菌性疾病治療通識等範疇。 |
◎本學科學習目標：
本課程期使學生能具備有獸醫細菌學、致病機制學、與預防醫學基本學識之外，同時兼備分離鑑別之基本及分子生物層級之細菌學技術。 |
