◎本學科內容概述：
戲劇實務為總整課程。本課程主要是指導學生辦理英文畢業公演，內容會包括劇本撰寫、排演、幕後工作規畫和執行、公演宣傳等等。該課程目標是學生可以將四年來外語系專業領域之一的文學領域課程做一個成果表演。 |
◎本學科教學內容大綱：
本課程以戲劇實務為主，提供學生對於劇場文化、歷史、技術與美學等觀點。本課程亦將引介劇作基礎概念：肢體動作、聲音表現、戲服製作與舞台設計都將於本課程中進行討論。最後總整表現為畢業公演製作。製作過程中之團隊合作亦為本課程核心。 |
◎本學科學習目標：
Theatrical Production is a capstone course. The primary goal for this course is to prepare students to participate in a world of theatrics and drama. Through this course, it offers a foundation for understanding drama and its relation to culture, history, technology and aesthetics. Fundamentals of theatrical works will be introduced, including producing scripts, rehearsal, behind-the-scent executions, and promotion. Students will apply what they have learnt in the course of four years to the final performance: A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare |

◎課程要求：
1. Students are expected to participate in physical training and vocal delivery training.
2. Attendance and punctuality are highly expected in a production.
3. Collective efforts and individual performance will be equally respected and considered.
*All actors and working staff are required to show up at the final performance on May 23rd.
*Please NOTE: This course requires students to FULLY devote to the graduation production. If you cannot do so, you are STRONLY RECOMMENDED NOT TO TAKE THIS COURSE. |
