◎本學科學習目標: This course provides students a synthesis of the design concept, theories, practices and advanced techniques used to network security. The course will cover the following four areas:
(1) Network security and authentication protocols
(2) Security threats and countermeasures
(3) Intrusion detection and malware analysis
(4) Alert correlation and network forensic
By the end of the course, the students will learn the advanced theorems and tools of designing and establishing a secure environment for networks, and can use them to effectively and accurately analyze security threats to the network systems. The students will also obtain state-of-the-art information about security protocols and intrusion prevention techniques. The implementation part can also help the students learn how to write useful and practical programs for network security. |
