◎系所教育目標：
本系發展方向除了著重資訊科技的基礎理論之外，更將透過跨院、系的合作計畫，結合本校農學、教育相關系所與生物(生命)相關系所之教學研究、使生命科技和教育與資訊科技相結合。配合國家建設及產業發展之需要，本系博士班除了為國家培育高級資訊科技專業人才外，更配合政府重要經建政策之推行，協助南部地區產業資訊自動化，進而達到平衡區域發展的目的。順應世界學術發展之潮流，培育有能力研發及應用資訊技術的專業人才，進而提升國家整體的競爭力。本系博士班，提供更完備資訊科技相關研究之環境，培育資訊技術的專業人才，以符合世界學術發展的潮流。為促進科技整合及國際學術合作，本校在既有教育、農業、及生命科技等領域方向已具備相當卓越的研究成果，本系博士班在此基礎上，結合資訊科技共同發展，為學術發展做更大的貢獻，發揮科技整合的優點。 |
