本所研究發展著重於應用生物技術和基因操作技術於農業的研發,並結合產業界開發新的產品或技術,以提高我國的農業科技水準和產業競爭力。教學以培養未來的農業生物科技人才為目標,以配合嘉雲南地區生技產業的發展與需求,進一步發展成國際性的農業生物科技研發中心。

◎本學科學習目標:
This course focuses on understanding molecular mechanisms of plants in response to environmental factors including light, temperature, hormones, and biotic and abiotic stresses. Advanced tools for the study of plant molecular biology will also be included.
