◎本學科學習目標:
1. To increase awareness and understanding of the conception of human rights and citizenship in relation to education from various schools of thought in philosophy of education, and their applications in our classrooms;
2. To augment an understanding of the social aspects and possibilities of philosophy of education implicit in the schools of thought;
3. To gain understanding and knowledge of philosophical perspectives, and increase ability to apply these perspectives to the analysis of educational systems, theories, and settings;
4. To develop knowledge and competence in reflection and examination of professional practices and beliefs, in light and consideration of the research, scholarship, and perspectives of others;
5. To increase ability to articulate a grounded, clear, and meaningful vision and statement of belief(s) concerning education.
